Calvin Clark

DEL MUERTO — Funeral services for Calvin Clark, 53, will be 10 a.m., Monday, April 11, at Our Lady of Fatima, Chinle. Blane Grein, OFM, will officiate. Burial will be in family land, Del Muerto. Visitation will be 9 a.m.

Clark died April 6, 2011, in Del Muerto. He was born Dec. 20, 1957, in Chinle, into the Red Running Into the Water People Clan for the Water Flows Together People Clan.

Clark was an artist. His paintings were inspired by Canyn De Chelly.

Survivors include his mother, Sadie Clark of Del Muerto; brothers, Roy Clark, Paul Clark, Francis Clark; sisters, Evelyn Walker, Emma Gums, Cornelia Bonner.

Clark was preceded in death by his father, Ned Clark.

Pallbearers will be Clifton Clark, Creighton Clark, Phillip Clark, Chuck Scott, Peter Clark, James Gums.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Sadie Clark residence, Del Muerto, following services.

Stephanie Howes

GALLUP — Private graveside services for Stephanie “Jodi” Lynn Howes, 60, will be at Sunset Memorial Park, Gallup.

Howes died April 2, 2011, in Denver, Colo. She was born Oct. 25, 1950, in Gallup.

Howes graduated from Gallup High School in 1969. She relocated to California and then Tucson, were she was a resident most of her life. She enjoyed her family and many fun times and leaves behind many friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Karla Lynn Cipares; brother, Doug Howes Jr.; one grandchild.
Howes was preceded in death by her daughter, Nicole Lynn Bigley; parents, Peggy Lynn Templeton, Doug Howes Sr.; sister, Stacy Lynn Howes.

Donald Mullahon

CRYSTAL — Services are pending for Donald (Don) Mullahon, 61.

Mullahon died Thursday, April 7, 2011, in Crystal. He was born Dec. 22, 1950, in Fort Defiance.
A family gathering will be 5:30 p.m., April 9, at Crystal Chapter House.

Sammy Slinkey Sr.

FORT DEFIANCE — Services are pending for Sammy Slinkey Sr., 75.

Slinkey died Thursday, April 7, 2011, in Fort Defiance. He was born Sept. 10, 1935, in Nazlini.
A family gathering will be 5:30 p.m., at Rock Springs Chapter House, Rock Springs, April 8,9 and 11.
